Description-Overview of the Pi-Tron REV002 Demoboard

Serial Interfaces

You need an additional adapter to translate the 3.3V-UART signals (provided on the Mini-USB port) to USB.

Pi-Tron Used as Accessible via Connector
uart0 Console; TTL; RS485 /dev/ttyAMA0 /dev/serial0 X800
uart1 Console; TTL; RS485; RS232 /dev/ttyS0 /dev/serial1 X900

IOs

Four digital inputs/outputs (either or) are available. If used as output the state can be read back from the associated input.
The table below shows number and function of available GPIOs.

The Input/Output Voltage are coupled with the Power-Supply-Voltage. Normaly 24V. The maximum output current of each Port is 110mA depending on the power supply. On the Inputs all values over 6V are high and all values under 4V are low.

Name direction Accessible via Connector
dout1 output GPIO44 X19_DIO1
din1 input GPIO45 X19_DIO1
dout2 output GPIO35 X19_DIO2
din2 input GPIO43 X19_DIO2
dout3 output GPIO34 X19_DIO3
din3 input GPIO31 X19_DIO3
dout4 output GPIO29 X19_DIO4
din4 input GPIO28 X19_DIO4

Display Interfaces

The Pi-Tron has a HDMI-Interface with an micro-HDMI-Connector. Also there can be used the 40Pol-Header as RGB-Interface.

Ethernet

Name Connector Linux device
Ethernet 1 X600 eth0
Ethernet 2 X700 eth1

USB

The connector X601 is including the two USB ports "top" and "bottom". Both ports are configured as USB Host.
